As was said above that monster looks identical to the ones in FF: the spirits within. Looks like the devs were heavily influenced if you ask me.
Damn i hate this new layout, i was posting and i didn't see it here. Not to mention that the duplicate story check came up wth bugger all. I'm glad that PGR2 and 1 are on that list, maybe the petition was a good idea.

Well considering that nothing has been said about Killzone 2 for ages i'm not surprised. It's been like a sleeping monster, once it wakes up all hell breaks loose. Shame that the game however is in black and white effectively (again) and looks erm very boring to play (again). The textures are so so (as with H3 though) but the lighting is like dirty river water.
That's what i've been trying to say for ages, bubble for you.

I used to really look forward to this game, now i think i'll pass. I don't know why but something just doesn't entice me anymore.
The problem with KZ in general is that i like to play my games in colour. It looks gritty but also very boring. Still each to their own, i just prefer Halo and i won't dispute different people who think otherwise. They're both beautiful games and should play wonderfully too.

TBH i couldn't care when stuff is released, if anything it would be a good day to release stuff. I feel the same way about almost all other tragedies, i don't go around weeping on the day my grandfather passed away. It's happened and there's no point prolonging something which in the long run is the desired effect.
Anywho why did i get us onto this subject? I'm curious about what's going to be released. If something's free then it's a definate download for me. If i have to...

I don't get it, the scale is amazing but IMO that pics doesn't look good at all. The normal maps are messy, foliage is interesting and the visor is better. It's not announcement trailer stuff yet. I know Bungie will produce a stellar game with amazing graphics, i just don't believe that this shot is very good. Maybe the lighting was a problem; who knows. In the end it doesn't really matter, i'll still play the game to death. I was impressed by the beta so i guess i have nothing to lose ...
They have point, however it just seems that they cannot be arsed to find a way around it. As long as the game's good it doesn't matter which console it's on as it will be enjoyed.
All this talk about what can and can't be done on each console is a bit feeble if you ask me.
